Accessibility

1. What digital accessibility means
The accessibility of websites and digital technologies means designing and developing tools that can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities or specific needs.

Creating accessible experiences means ensuring that every user can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with content without barriers.

Accessible design does not only benefit those who use assistive technologies; it improves usability for everyone, making digital products simpler, more intuitive, and more inclusive.

2. Our commitment
At Fondazione Fiera Milano, we are committed to promoting a culture of inclusion integrated into the way we work every day.

We believe that accessibility is a shared responsibility: we listen to our stakeholders, understand their needs, and commit to making our products and services accessible anywhere and to anyone.

3. Our actions for an accessible website
In line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) directive, we work across the three pillars of accessibility—design, content, and code—to continuously improve our digital channels.

We follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), which define the international standards for making web content accessible to people with various types of disabilities (visual, motor, cognitive, hearing).

Our goal is to ensure a fair and high-quality digital experience for every user.

4. How to report an accessibility issue
Accessibility is an ongoing process: despite our efforts, some pages may not yet be fully compliant with the standards.

If you encounter any difficulty using the website, you can report it by writing to fondazione@fondazionefiera.it.

We kindly ask you to include:

  • First and last name
  • URL or feature where you encountered the issue
  • Description of the problem
  • Device and browser used
  • Any assistive technologies in use
  • We will respond within 30 days of receiving your report. Personal data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
