5. Terms of Use for the Virtual Assistant (AI Chatbot)
Our virtual assistant is a conversational artificial intelligence-based system designed to provide the User with general information and assistance. Users interacting with the assistant are not communicating with a human operator. This information is provided at the start of each conversation, within the assistant's interface, and is accompanied by a visible indicator for the entire duration of the session, pursuant to Art. 50, paras. 1 and  5, of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. Before interacting with the chatbot, please carefully read the following:

  • 5.1. Nature and Operation of the Service
    • Functions performed: The assistant provides information and suggestions regarding cultural offerings and trade fair events, and proposes visit itineraries based on the indications and requests made by the User from time to time.
    • Functions not performed: The assistant does not enter into contracts, make bookings or payments, issue admission tickets, or adopt decisions that produce legal effects on the User or similarly significantly affect them.
  • 5.2. Limitations of Information and Liability
    • Nature of responses: Responses provided by the virtual assistant are for purely informational purposes. Although we strive to keep information up to date, the system may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated content. In the event of discrepancies, the information published by event organizers shall prevail. Users are therefore invited to verify dates, times, locations, and prices with the official source before making bookings, purchases, or travel arrangements.
    • No professional advice: Chat content does not constitute professional, legal, or binding advice. Before making decisions or taking actions based on the responses received, we recommend verifying data accuracy or directly contacting our human support team. The Data Controller takes all reasonable measures to ensure the proper functioning of the virtual assistant and to update the information made available. The Data Controller is not responsible for decisions made by the User in disregard of the invitation to verify information with the official source.
    • Limitation of Liability: The Data Controller of the Site disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, or decisions made on the basis of information provided by the virtual assistant.

    • Sensitive Data: The virtual assistant does not request special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, nor payment details, tax IDs, banking information, or access credentials. In any case, Users are invited not to enter such data into the conversation.
    • Service Improvement: Conversations may be analyzed and verified in aggregated or anonymous form by our team solely for the purpose of improving service performance and platform security. Conversations are stored for a maximum period of 90 days and may be reviewed by personnel authorized by the Data Controller for security and service improvement purposes. Purposes, legal bases, retention periods, and data subject rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

      By using the chatbot, the user declares to have read, understood, and accepted this Disclaimer and these Legal Notes. If the User does not agree with the content of these conditions of use, the User is requested not to use the service and to contact the Data Controller through traditional channels.

6. Personal Data Protection and Privacy (GDPR)
