CHRISTMAS CAROL
The Auditorium di Milano is hiding a secret: between the stage and the dressing rooms wander two decidedly unusual ghosts. One was the innkeeper of the old Osteria della Montagnetta, the other the projectionist at the Cinema Teatro Massimo. For years they have argued without end, making life difficult for musicians and disrupting orchestra rehearsals.
Restoring peace will require a special mission: staging Charles Dickens’s most famous Christmas story.
Blending music, theatre and imagination, Dickens’s masterpiece intertwines with the history of the building that is now home to the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, creating a performance about the value of cooperation, solidarity and change.
A journey into the atmosphere of Christmas, bringing together imagination, memory and live music.
