Timi's Hamlet is weary and disenchanted. He no longer wishes to play out the monotonous family drama, no longer wants to love Ophelia—indeed, he no longer wants anything at all. Disembodied voices call him back to his destiny, but to no avail.
Around him move the figures conjured by his restless imagination, performed by his long-time artistic collaborators Marina Rocco and Elena Lietti.

Filippo Timi is an acclaimed Italian actor, writer, and director known internationally for his powerful dual role in Marco Bellocchio’s Vincere (Cannes 2009) and performances in The American and The Eight Mountains. A magnetic presence across auteur cinema and theatrical stage, he is celebrated for portraying complex, intense antiheroes.
