È MIO PADRE
È Mio Padre – Morricone conducts Morricone is the symphonic project dedicated to the artistic legacy of Ennio Morricone through the eyes of his children. Maestro Andrea Morricone conducts, while Marco Morricone serves as narrator, guiding the audience on a journey that intertwines music, images, and storytelling, revealing the most intimate dimension of Morricone’s universe.
From Once Upon a Time in the West to The Mission, from Cinema Paradiso to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the programme explores some of the most beloved moments in the history of cinema, alongside pieces such as Here's to You and Se telefonando, a testament to the extraordinary versatility of Morricone’s writing.
Alongside the music, stories drawn from the book Ennio Morricone: The Genius, the Man, the Father (Sperling & Kupfer, 2024) offer a personal and artistic portrait of the composer, while previously unseen images accompany the performance by the Orchestra Sinfonica and Coro Sinfonico di Milano.
