In a Paris suspended between dream and memory, the encounter between Madame A., a former musician with infectious vitality, and a lost young man – Federico De Giacomo – gives rise to an unexpected journey of mutual growth.
Something emerges between them that defies definition: it is not merely a music lesson, but a meeting of generations, a passing of the torch, a slow and powerful emotional education. A third perspective – that of the narrator, Andrea Soffiantini – guides the audience through this dance of notes, silences and memories.
Through words, silences and music, the production reflects on the passing of time, on the legacy we leave to others and on the possibility of rewriting one’s own life through listening and connection.
A delicate and engaging piece, a celebration of the passing on of knowledge, of freedom and of the power of love in its deepest forms.

Milena Vukotic is one of Italy’s most acclaimed actresses, with a career spanning more than six decades across theatre, cinema and television. She has worked with celebrated directors including Federico Fellini, Luis Buñuel, Ettore Scola and Bernardo Bertolucci. Alongside her distinguished theatrical career, she is widely known internationally for her work in Italian cinema and television. In 2024, she received the David di Donatello Lifetime Achievement Award.
Andrée Ruth Shammah is an acclaimed Italian theatre director and the artistic force behind Milan’s Teatro Franco Parenti, which she co-founded in 1972. She has directed more than 100 productions, working with many of Italy’s leading actors and playwrights. For over five decades, she has been a distinctive and influential figure in Italian theatre.
