Villa Necchi Campiglio
An icon of ’30s deco in the heart of Milan

Villa Necchi Campiglio is an elegant 1930s villa, surrounded by a peaceful garden with a swimming pool, not far from Via Montenapoleone and San Babila
It was designed by the innovative architect Piero Portaluppi. Commissioned by the Necchi sisters and Angelo Campiglio, the husband of one of the two sisters, it represented the refined Lombard upper-middle class.
The villa combines modern comfort, luxury, and innovation and houses important artworks by artists such as Canaletto, De Chirico, Picasso, Matisse, and Modigliani.
The Villa was donated to the FAI, the National Trust for Italy in 2001. It is open to the public and visitors can explore it with an audio guide in several languages or on a guided tour.
