Bagatti Valsecchi Museum

In line with the vision of its founders, the Museum combines the promotion of its historical and artistic heritage with a rich cultural program. Exhibitions, talks, performances, theatrical productions, and workshops make it a landmark in Milan’s cultural scene, capable of engaging audiences of all ages and interests.

Among the main offerings are guided tours for adults and families, conceived to explore the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions through thematic itineraries.

The program also includes well-established events such as Stasera al Museo, the series of events that brings the Salone d’Onore and the Cortili Storici to life with theater, music, and dance performances, and Tea Talks. Art Conversations at the Bagatti Valsecchi House, gatherings that rekindle the pleasure of conversation in an intimate setting, accompanied by a cup of tea. This format is closely linked to the Museo Oltre i Confini conferences, which takes the museum beyond its own walls to connect with the local community and the suburbs of Milan.

Exhibitions play a central role in the program, offering new perspectives on the House Museum and its collections. One example is Depero Space to Space, organized in collaboration with the Mart in Trento and Rovereto, thirty-five years after the last major Milanese retrospective dedicated to the artist. Upcoming exhibitions include the retrospective dedicated to Bertozzi & Casoni. Eternal and Fragile Presences, and Trama e Ordito. Between Pistoletto, Buren, and Boetti from the Canclini Collection, an exhibition project dedicated to the language of textiles and the dialogue between contemporary art and manufacturing traditions.
