Profumi di Mosto

“Profumi di Mosto” is an initiative organised by the Valtènesi Consortium, offering visitors a sensory experience at the height of the grape harvest, amongst the hills stretching from Desenzano to San Felice del Benaco, passing through both inland and lakeside towns. This year, 24 Valtènesi wineries are taking part, representing the Riviera del Garda Classico PDO, San Martino della Battaglia PDO and Benaco Bresciano PGI designations. A special focus will be on the native grape varieties Groppello and Tuchì.

Visitors are free to plan their own itinerary by purchasing a ticket for one or two wineries, or they can choose from pre-arranged three-stop tours designed to explore the region’s diverse character. At each winery, the welcome includes a tasting of three wines paired with a local gastronomic delicacy – different at each stop and designed to enhance the wines’ aromas – as well as the chance to speak directly with the producers and learn more about the work of the winemakers of Valtènesi and the Riviera del Garda Classico.
