Tea Talks “Simultaneous and changing bites”
Published in Turin's Gazzetta del Popolo newspaper in December 1930, the Futurist Cooking Manifesto was conceived as a provocation against Italian culinary traditions: it promoted innovative dishes, combining unusual flavors, aromas, colors, and sounds with unusual ingredients and experimenting with new textures. The aim was to transform the meal into a creative act, a multisensory aesthetic experience that stimulated creativity and broke with convention, turning the table into a laboratory of art and modernity, in perfect harmony with the provocative and avant-garde spirit of Futurism.
