Acetaie Aperte 2026

Fondazione Qualivita

Guided tours, tastings and meetings with producers at the Modena vinegar cellars producing Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena PDO. The event is organised by Le Terre del Balsamico, an organisation that brings together the Consortium for the Protection of Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI and the Consortium for the Protection of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena PDO

The “Acetaie Aperte” initiative is a historic event, a forerunner of food and wine tourism, which has been taking place in Modena since 2002, organised by the Consortia for the Protection of Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena PDO to promote the culture and tradition of certified balsamic vinegar. You can take part by contacting the various member vinegar producers, who open their doors to the public with guided tours, tastings and related activities designed to help visitors discover the product, the supply chain and the local area.

The 2026 edition will take place on Sunday 27 September, featuring meetings with producers and special programmes organised by each company. From 18 to 27 September, in Modena (Via dello Zono 5A), visitors can also explore ‘SupermerKaos’, the interactive workshop devised by the Consorzio Tutela Aceto Balsamico di Modena as part of Festivalfilosofia 2026, dedicated to understanding how to read labels correctly.
