Choreography by the grand masters of the past and present, in an exploration of varying styles, is entrusted to the talent and passion of pupils from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Ballet School directed by Frédéric Olivieri.
The pupils of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Ballet School come to the Teatro Strehler for the traditional show, which provides them with an opportunity to perform exerts from the most well-known and challenging of ballets from the classic repertoire, as well as more contemporary styles. The encounter with the great masters of past and present can only serve to enhance what they have already achieved; the names Balanchine, Béjart, Ek, Forsythe, Kylián, Petit and Preljocaj represent the range of skills that the dancers from the La Scala Academy are called on to learn and perfect during their studies.
