La cosmicomica vita di Q
Luca Marinelli takes a dive into the science, poetry, abstraction and reality of Italo Calvino, staging the parable of Qfwfq, an eternal, lost creature who spends New Year’s eve 2035 on Earth: «We are in an extremely near future, in which people have let themselves go, choosing to cancel the experience of beauty and the world».
After billions of years of existence, Qfwfq finds himself in a contemporary city. He has become an ordinary man and, above all, has forgotten (or has chosen to forget?) who he was, where he has been and what he has seen. He embarks on a moving journey through memory to retrace his history, which is also that of the universe and of the human race: the Big Bang, the formation of the Milky Way and the Solar System and the creation of the Moon, up to his dive into nothingness and his return to the start: the present. With a blend of science, poetry, abstraction and reality, Luca Marinelli – winner of two Nastri d’Argento, the Coppa Volpi in Venice and a David di Donatello – brings to the Piccolo a loose adaptation of the famous collection of stories by Italo Calvino.
